morning. ed here, Fergus Falls. i fish out of a 2008 Lund 1800 Pro-V on Otter Tail and i got tired of the walleye boat guys being a footnote on the big fishing boards, so here we are.

where things go. hull stuff, motors, kickers, trailers, trolling motors, wiring: Boats and rigging. reports, sonar, maps, tournament prep: Fishing, electronics and tournaments. money, dealers, private sales, repos, auctions: Buying and auctions. year, hull, motor, hours, price. if you leave one out you will be asked.

four rules. be decent. nothing for sale in a thread, ever, i will pull it. dealer, marina and auction employees say so up front. i move posts to the right board when they land in the wrong one and i leave a note saying so.

i approve accounts by hand, the contact page says what to send me.

about time somebody split the walleye boats off from the big general boards. i guide out of Isle on Mille Lacs and i am tired of scrolling past bass boats to find a thread about kicker brackets.

one ask ed. can we make it a habit to put the hull and the motor in the title on rigging questions. a 1875 Pro-V with a 150 and a 2075 with a 250 do not share a transom or a wiring harness, and half the answers on other boards are for the wrong boat.

done, it is on the about page now: hull and motor in the title for anything in Boats and rigging. and thanks for sending your Mille Lacs crowd over, marv, we passed a hundred members over the weekend which is more than i expected for a board that is five days old.
