About this board
Walleye Boat Forum opened in August 2025 for people who fish walleyes out of a boat they own and care about the boat. The general fishing boards had gotten too wide, the bass boards do not care about kickers, and the manufacturer groups on social media delete anything with a price in it. So this is a small forum for Lund, Alumacraft, Crestliner, Ranger and whatever else you run on Leech, Mille Lacs, Devils Lake, the glacial lakes and the Red.
It is run by Ed R., a retired high school shop teacher from Fergus Falls, Minnesota, who has launched a Lund at the Otter Tail Lake access for thirty summers and goes by mod_ed_r on the boards. He reads the contact address himself. In the fall he is slow about it because the walleyes are biting in front of Zorbaz and he is not going to apologize for that.
How it is paid for
House rules
- Hull and motor in the title for anything on the rigging board. A 1875 Pro-V with a 150 and a 2075 with a 250 are different boats.
- Say what you paid. Dealer, private and auction reports without a number get a note from a mod asking for one.
- No selling in threads. There is no classifieds board and there will not be one. Linking a public listing to make a point is fine.
- If you work for a dealer, a marina or an auction, say so in your first post.
- Mods can move, merge or lock threads and will leave a note saying why.
- Accounts are approved by hand. Ask through the contact page.
What this is not
Not a dealer, not a marina, not a legal office. When somebody here tells you what the title rules are in Minnesota or North Dakota, check it with the DNR, game and fish, or the registrar before you drive there with a check.
